Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 18, 2026

This policy explains what Splice Creatives (“we”) collects through this website, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email, phone, company and website, and anything you type into the contact, booking or notes fields.
  • AI assessment: the full text of your conversation with the AI Automation Advisor, including chats you start but do not finish, the answers we extract from it (for example business type, size, challenges, tools and timeline), and the tier we calculate. A one-way hash of your IP address is stored with the chat to help us prevent abuse.
  • Call bookings: the date and time you choose, your time zone and any notes.
  • Consent records: when you tick a consent box we record the time and your IP address.
  • Usage events: basic page and action events with an anonymous session identifier and browser type. IP addresses used for these events are stored only as a one-way hash.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs such as IP address and requested pages for security and reliability.
  • Proposal signatures: If you accept a proposal online, we record the signing name, email, timestamp and a one-way IP hash as an electronic acceptance record.

Please do not enter passwords, financial account numbers, or confidential client or patient information into the assistant or any form.

How we use it

To respond to you, prepare your assessment, schedule and confirm calls, send related emails (including a limited number of follow-up and abandoned-assessment reminder emails when you opt in), keep our records, protect the site against abuse, and improve our services. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

AI processing

The text you send to the AI Automation Advisor is transmitted to a third-party AI model provider so it can generate replies. The final tier and price range are calculated by our own software, not by the AI, and a person at Splice Creatives reviews assessments. The AI can make mistakes and its output is not professional advice.

Who we share information with

Only service providers that help us run the site, and only to provide those services:

  • an AI model provider (assessment conversation text);
  • our web hosting and email delivery providers (all submitted information and the emails we send);
  • Formcarry, a form-handling service that receives a copy of your booking details so we can be notified.
  • Google (Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics or similar tools only if you accept analytics); and
  • Cloudflare, whose Turnstile security check is shown to some visitors to prevent automated abuse.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others, and as part of a business transfer.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential storage. Your browser's temporary session storage holds your assessment details so the booking form can be pre-filled; it is cleared when you finish booking or close the tab. We store your cookie choice in your browser's local storage. A session cookie is used only for signed-in Splice Creatives staff.

Analytics (only with your consent). We load Google Tag Manager on every page. Because it is requested from Google's servers, Google receives your IP address and browser details as with any web request. By default, analytics storage is switched off using Google Consent Mode. If you choose “Accept analytics” in the banner, measurement tools such as Google Analytics may set cookies and record how you use the site (pages viewed, clicks on key buttons, device type and approximate location). We do not currently use advertising cookies.

You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics. Rejecting after previously accepting stops further analytics collection but does not delete cookies already set; you can clear them in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry, assessment, conversation and booking records for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you, unless you become a client (in which case client records are kept as needed for the engagement and legal obligations). Chats that you start but never submit contact details for are deleted automatically after 90 days. If you opt in to assessment recovery, we store the email and reminder preference with the assessment session until it is completed, expires, or is deleted. Rate-limiting records are deleted within days. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop receiving emails, by contacting hello@splicecreatives.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act; we will respond to verifiable requests as the law requires. Use the unsubscribe link in an assessment reminder to stop reminder emails.

Security

We use access controls, HTTPS, hashed passwords and request throttling to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
